Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd is committed to safeguarding your privacy online.  We use the information we collect about you to help us understand more about how our site is used and to be able to send you communications about Grays and its products that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise.

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from me?

We do not collect any personal information from you when you are browsing our websites, however to improve our websites we anonymously track what you are browsing.

It is only if you choose to register with us that we begin to capture your personal information.  For most people we only ask for your name and email address.  Once registered, we also record personal information about preferences, interests and demographics.

We only collect address and telephone information when you ask us to fulfil a request needing that information.  We advise all people using our websites under the age of 18 not to supply address and telephone information, if it is necessary it should only be done with parental consent.

When you purchase any goods from us you will be required to provide additional personal information such as credit or debit card details in order for us to process your request.

2. How we use Cookies

Like many websites, we use cookies in order to provide you with a more personalised web service.

3. How is my information used?

When logged in to one of our websites we use your information to help you navigate the website and to help us understand more how you use our site.

We also use the information we collect about you to send you communications, if requested, that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise.

4. Who is collecting my information?

When you are on one of our websites and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd.  Your personal information will also be shared with other service providers contracted to Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd in order to fulfil services you have requested.  For example, when you are using our secure online payment pages we share information with our payment services provider, PayPoint plc.  They in turn may need to share details of your transaction with other service providers, such as your bank, in order to process your payment.  It is clear on the payment page when you are going through to the PayPoint site.

5. Where is my information stored?

Your personal data is held on secure servers operated by ourselves and our third party web hosting service providers.

6. With whom do you share my information?

As a general rule, we will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.  When you are using our secure online payment pages you are going through to a partner company and the information you give such as your credit card number and contact information is provided so that the transaction can take place.

7. What are my choices regarding, collection, use and distribution of my information?

If you indicated that you are interested in receiving regular information about Grays’s brands we will send you communications regarding Grays’s activities, either electronically or otherwise

Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd does not sell or rent personal information to any third party.  It only shares personal information with third party service providers as described in this policy.

If you do not wish for any personal information to be used, stored or distributed by us then you should restrict your use of our websites to browsing.

8. How I can access, update or delete my information?

The accuracy of your personal information is important to us.  We are working on ways to make it easier for you to review, correct or delete the information that Grays maintains about you.  In the meantime: if you change email address, if any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date or you want us to delete any information you have provided, please email us at sales@Grays-Int.co.uk, or write to Sales, Grays of Cambridge Ltd, Station Road, Robertsbridge, East Sussex, TN32 5DH with the details.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.  A small fee will be payable.  If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to Sales, Grays of Cambridge Ltd, Station Road, Robertsbridge, East Sussex, TN32 5DH.

9. How do you protect my personal information?

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure.  In order to minimise the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information.

10. Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of potential interest to you.  However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over third party websites and can give no assurances about their security of any personal information you provide to them.  Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.  You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

11. What about children’s privacy?

We realise many children visit our websites and we do encourage children to participate in sport.  Children should always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to anyone online, and we advise under 18 year olds not to submit personal address or telephone information.  However, as we are unable to verify the age of a people using our site, it is ultimately the responsibility of parents or legal guardians to supervise children when online.

When you give us personal information that information may be stored and processed outside of the UK and we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be totally secure.  As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us.  If this risk is unacceptable to you then you must not provide us with any of your personal information.
